Slash Shell (Japanese: スラッシュシェル, Hepburn: Surasshusheru?) [Japanese name: flag shell] is a bos s from Dariusburst: Another Chronicle EX, it is an improved version of Ancient Barrage. It is shaped after a hawksbill turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata).

It is the same as the Ancient Barrage flagship in that it is an attack ship that specializes in on-board weaponry and defense capabilities, but has a stronger anti-ship attack capability. A twin laser cannon fired from the rear is a powerful attack that can be fired with the burst engine running at full capacity. Although it is less energy efficient than anti-matter burst cannons, it is particularly useful in the game against Silver Hawk because you do not need to worry about analyzing the burst counter.
