Full Metal Shell is the boss of Zone J in Darius Twin. It is based on a Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas).
Appearance
Full Metal Shell has the appearance of a robotic green sea turtle. It features a rounded green shell with metallic plating, sharp fins, and spiked details. Its head has glowing brown eyes and mechanical jaws, giving it a tough armored look.
Gameplay
Full Metalshell alternates between three attacks: launching destructible turtle drones from its top and bottom which then fly forward, extending its neck forward and shooting lasers from it both upwards and downwards, and shooting a bullet spread from its mouth. While alternating its attacks the boss will be constantly circling around the screen, forcing the player to be constantly on the move. Its weakpoint is on its mouth.
