Curious Chandelier (Japanese: キュリアスシャンデリア, Hepburn: Kyuriasushanderia?) [Japanese name: Strange burning] is one of the final bosses from Darius Gaiden. It is shaped after a crown jellyfish (Netrostoma setouchianum).

Large mobile weapon lurking in the mantle convection of the planet Darius. Armed with pod needle bullets fired from tentacles and marking shots that search for and attack the position of enemy aircraft.
Appearance
Curious Chandelier from is a mechanical boss with a japanese crown jellyfish-like appearance.
It features a dome-shaped top shell with glowing orange and blue colors surrounded by multiple clusters of pink, spike-covered appendages. Beneath it has long, jointed tentacles that resemble insect legs or crab pincers, giving it a bizarre yet symmetrical and threatening design.
Gameplay
Intially, Curious Chandelier alternates between shooting a spray of needles in fixed directions and using a reticule which tracks down the player to shoot detonating bullets on the player's position. Once it takes enough damage it drops its lower tentacles, attacking the player directly by whipping its upper tentacles.
Once all of its tentacles are destroyed the boss will release small drones which shoot at the player, fire purple lasers from its eye on the player's direction and shoot a barrage of large bullets while using the reticule attack.
